Struggles For Land : NE New Territories Developing Stories 巨輪下的新界東北

"The New Territories Northeast Under the Giant Wheel" is a Hong Kong documentary filmed between 2012 and 2014 by the "New Territories Northeast Concern Group," an organization formed by post-secondary students. It records the rural and local landscapes on the eve of the implementation of the Northeast New Territories New Development Areas planning (such as Kwu Tung, Fanling North, and Ping Che), while exploring issues such as land justice and the development of agriculture in Hong Kong.
