Karoo

Young, reckless and in love, Zoe (Briony Horwitz) and Mac (Bjorn Steinbach) throw caution to the wind and embark on a dark ride of lust fuelled thievery. Robbing roadside shops in small forgotten towns, their escapade takes a dramatic turn when Mac thinks twice about sharing the loot. Set in the stark expanse of the Karoo semi-desert, this debut short film is inspired by the famous South African legend of the Karoo Ghost Hitchhiker.
