Nancy is a girl who lives in the desert. She falls in love with one of the village's young men, but the son of the tribe's chief is madly in love with her and wants her as his wife. Nancy's father refuses to marry her to the young man she loves and forces her to marry the son of the tribe's chief. The latter responds to Nancy's rejection by burning her father's land. Unfortunately, the outbreak of the fire coincides with the presence of the film's heroine's lover at the scene of the fire in order to save her, which will lead to him suffering severe burns that disfigure him.
