Del Manicomio al Matrimonio

The writer Edmundo Alamares falls in love with a cousin, who is also his father's student. Alamares gives her an engagement ring, but his cousin finds out about his intentions and a fight breaks out. Alamares loses his mind and is committed to a mental asylum, where a doctor neglects him despite charging him for treatment. Finally, with his cousin's help, Edmundo manages to escape, unmask the imposters, reconcile with his cousin, and marry his beloved.
