Los ciclistas se entrenan

A newsreel from the 1940s shows a group of cyclists demonstrating their skills at the Campo de Marte. Among those present at this sporting event were Jacinto Poblete, national champion in middle-distance and road cycling; Francisco Sagástegui, sprint champion; and César Peñaranda, road cycling champion. The newsreel also highlights the use of bicycles as a means of transportation, a trend also seen in other countries due to rising fuel costs.
