Capstone

In “Capstone,” members of Chicago-based Krump dance collective ChiBuck use their powerful movement to embody the intricacies of memory, community, and self-expression in race and gender-based struggles. In a forbidding landscape, the dancers climb and crawl uphill, dig into the earth, express personal frustrations, and embrace and support one another through their shared challenges and possibilities.
