Jackson: Not Just a Name

Jackson: Not Just a Name combines footage from the 1970's with interviews to document struggle to build the Jonathan Jackson Educational Cadre (JJEC). The film follows young, socially conscious African Americans from the Avalon Gardens Projects as they build a new organization and face police repression.
